"Human dignity is not defined by passive survival, but by the active freedom to create, connect, and imagine. In Architects of Joy, four children from different corners of the globe—representing Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Arctic—stand shoulder to shoulder in complete equality and natural pride. Together, they assert their inherent worth through the universal language of play, holding a vibrant green sphere that symbolizes the raw vitality of human life. In contrast to the textured, impasto layers of a hand-built shelter, the painting rejects a narrative of helpless suffering. Instead, it celebrates children as proud, active architects of their own resilience, solidarity, and joy."
